Cashier Assistant:

Full Time Position, 35 hours per week.  No restrictions on availability.  Must work Nights and Weekends.  Benefits plus.  Must have 2 years plus in retail.  $10-$12 per hour.  Depends on expeirence

Contributes to profitable sales growth by assisting and training Cashier associates and delivering company checkout experience strategies

- Customer Service & Sales - Greets and assists customers in finding products and delivers outstanding customer service - Demonstrates WORTH behaviors consistently - Partners with other team members when additional support is needed - Actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems

- Promotes FindMore with associates to drive sales and enhance customer service - Assists with credit, rewards and gift card programs throughout the store - Actively and enthusiastically engages customers to support the company’s Instant Credit Application Process (iCAP) - Cashier Performance

- Trains and supports all cashier associates on checkout procedures to ensure WORTH behaviors are consistently exhibited - Monitors associate productivity by utilizing Point of Sale productivity metrics - Line Management & Checkout Standards - Proactively shifts resources based on observed increase in store traffic and complexity of transaction

- Utilizes Point of Sale on Mobile Warrior, Satellite Registers, and Expeditor Stations as a means of reducing wait times during peak traffic periods - Oversees maintenance, cleanliness, signing, and organization of all checkout stations - Partners with Merchandise Supervisor to stock all Impulse Fixtures and merchandise according to plan

- Identifies checkout supply needs in a timely manner to ensure replenishment orders are placed in accordance with delivery deadlines - General Operations - Assists with the Productivity Standards Program processes (SVG 1 – 2) - Participates in annual inventory processes - Assists with recovery, put backs and fitting room maintenance as needed - Omnichannel (SVG 1 – 3 Only) - Assists with and trains associates on Ship from Store and Buy Online Pick Up In Store orders in accordance with prescribed time periods in order to maximize sales and customer experience - Assists with Enterprise Fulfillment reporting and metrics and takes action to resolve issues

- Shares reporting and metrics results with team and uses information to motivate or train associates

- Assists in processing orders, aged and undelivered orders/returns, and supporting systems

 - Supports binning and pick-and-pack processes for orders as needed

- Resolves customer Omnichannel needs in a timely manner and partner with Cashier Supervisor or Manager on Duty for any customer service needs - Performance Standards

- Supports company shrink and safety initiatives - Meets established performance standards for the role on a consistent basis, including (but not limited to) the company’s iCAP program, product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance
